Competition | Win travel essentials from Lifeventure
Summer is long gone and Autumn is here. The weather is definitely cooler but that should not put you off camping. In fact camping in Autumn is more fun because of the autumnal shades you get to see (the stunning display of shades of orange, pink, magenta and brown) and the spectacular sunsets. Plus most camping and glamping sites come with wood burners or fire pits to keep you warm and toasty. Two sites that come to my mind as I write this are the luxury yurt camps in Dorset and the Wigwams in Brampton - both in beautiful locations offering peace and tranquillity. So, get into the camping spirit and head out on a camping/glamping break to enjoy the great outdoors this autumn season.
And now that you have decided to go out camping, you will need to sort out your travel essentials. I would recommend checking out Lifeventure's website. They supply travel gear to specialist retailers in more than 40 countries across the world. All their products are British-designed and have been developed using cutting-edge materials and techniques. On their website, you will find everything from travel bags to compression sacks, from sleep gear to RFID protection, from power adaptors to travel locks and from camping tableware to travel wash gear.
We are offering, in collaboration with Lifeventure, a pair of travel essentials to one lucky reader of The Globe Trotter. The prize includes a TiV Vacuum Flask(£20.99) and a SoftFibre Ordnance Survey travel towel(£22.99). The lucky winner will enjoy the use of the sleek, thermally-induced vacuum flask which can keep drinks hot for up to eight hours or cool for 24 hours.
And the SoftFibre travel towel which is super soft, lightweight and has been treated with Polygiene permanent odour control. The towel absorbs 9 times its own weight in water and dries 8 times faster than a conventional towel making it an ideal travel companion whether you are out backpacking or camping.
