About us
The Globetrotter is a UK-based travel and outdoor blog founded in 2009 by me, Deeptha. I travel alongside my husband, Bhavin, who is also a travel lover and enjoys exploring new places with me. What started as a personal journal to share our journeys and photos with family and friends has grown into a well-established platform where we inspire and inform readers about destinations, experiences, and all things travel.Our content focuses on couples’ travel, highlighting fun and affordable getaways, sometimes with a touch of luxury.
From scenic road trips and cultural experiences to unique stays and food adventures, we aim to make travel enjoyable and accessible for like-minded explorers.
Our audience mainly consists of travel-loving couples aged 25-64 in the United Kingdom, with interests ranging from soft adventure and cultural tourism to food experiences and UK staycations. If your brand aligns with our readers, we’d be excited to explore partnership opportunities.

Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with a wide range of travel and lifestyle brands, tourism boards, and accommodation providers. Our work has taken us across the UK and Europe, partnering with regional tourism boards such as Salzburg Tourism, Zell am See-Kaprun, Basel Tourism, Laussane Tourism and more.
In the UK, we’ve worked with Shakespeare’s England, Visit Swansea Bay, Visit Winchester, Bury St Edmunds and Beyond, and the West Midlands Growth Company, joining press trips to explore and promote their destinations. We’ve also teamed up with Guernsey Tourism and Jersey Tourism, along with Condor Ferries, to uncover the charm of the Channel Islands.
We’ve collaborated with a variety of hotels and holiday accommodation providers — from luxurious stays at The Cavendish London in Mayfair and Down Hall Hotel, to unique retreats like Twr y Felin, Wales’ first contemporary art hotel in St Davids. Some other hotel partners include Menzies Hotels, Moorland Garden Hotels, and Peak Edge Hotel. We’ve also reviewed a number of unique holiday accommodations such as Loch Tay Highland Lodges, Longnor Wood Holiday Park, Classic Cottages, Aspects Holidays, and Wigwam Holidays.
In addition, we’ve worked with trusted lifestyle and travel brands including National Trust, Jet2 and Jet2Holidays (on press trips to Rome and Barcelona), Sea Bookings, Antler, Keen Footwear and Weird Fish to name a few. These collaborations have enabled us to create meaningful content that connects with a travel-loving audience, while also offering brands authentic, long-term visibility through my blog and social media channels.
