Katie Jane Home | Coast 4 Person Picnic Backpack, Review & Giveaway

Day trips and picnics go hand in hand, I am certain all of you will concur. And whether you are heading to the beach, the countryside or on a boat trip, a picnic backpack is one of the handiest items to have in such scenarios. While I love the traditional wicker picnic baskets, carrying them along on all excursions may not be feasible. And that is where the versatile and much easier to carry picnic backpack comes into the picture. Lightweight and practical, a picnic backpack can accompany you on all your excursions.

We have been testing out a 4 person picnic backpack from Katie Jane Home and found it very practical and chic!

The backpack is fully furnished with a complete picnic set for four including plastic plates, wine glasses, utensils (forks, knives, and spoons), a bottle opener with corkscrew, mini plastic chopping board and a navy fleece blanket. All the cutlery and crockery is stored in a special compartment at the front with straps so that everything is kept in place even when you are on the move.

The picnic backpack has a high density insulated section to keep your food cool and fresh. At first glance, I felt that the insulated section was not large enough but it turned out to be deceptively spacious. It has been able to accommodate everything we wanted on all our picnics. There is also a removable insulated bottle holder. In short, it has all the essentials needed to dine comfortably in the outdoors.

In terms of comfort, I liked the presence of adjustable shoulder straps making it really comfortable to wear on the back - even when it is full of food! The picnic backpack scores well on the aesthetic front too. Inspired by Cornish fishing villages & the Atlantic coastline, the backpack uses clean and fresh colours to give a modern feel.

Overall, it is a well-designed and stylish picnic backpack. It is well built (the zippers are sturdy) and comfortable to carry. The backpack provides enough space for everything you need to carry on a picnic and the best thing is you do not have to worry anymore about forgetting the picnic essentials. It is a good quality product and well worth the price.

The Coast 4 Person Picnic Backpack by Navigate with Blanket & Bottle Holder is priced at £65.00 and can be purchased online from Katie Jane Home.

Katie Jane Home is also very kindly giving away one of these picnic backpacks (same as the one featured in this post) to one lucky reader of The Globe Trotter. Entry is via the Gleam widget below. All the best!

  7. I go walking with my OH each Sunday morning, averaging about 5 miles. We always take Ribena, apples, and this would be ideal for longer walks when we go to the Lakes
