The Shard Tower in London

The Shard located in Southwark (the latest addition to the London skyline) is the tallest building in Western Europe at present. The tower has a pyramidal shape and is clad entirely in glass. At 1016 feet it is hard to be missed and embodies the power, change, ideas, glamour and vibrancy associated with London.

It is said that the views from the Shard will extend to an astonishing 40 miles across London. It sure promises to be a major attraction in London once the viewing point is opened to the general public sometime in February 2013. However rest of the structure will be opened to public on the 5th of July 2012.

The Shard houses some of the most sought after residences (offering unparalleled views of London), the international 5 Star hotel Shangri-La, best of the restaurants and of course world class workplaces with lovely views.
