Tudor's World - The Falstaff Experience in Stratford-upon-Avon

Tudor's World is an interesting museum in Stratford-upon-Avon which provides a scary insight into the life of Tudors. Different aspects of the Tudor world like story of Kings and Queens, crime, witches, scary medicine, the plague and of course William Shakespeare are all explained excellently with the help of props and sounds.

Set in a Grade 2 listed historic building right in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, this museum is quirky and interesting. The interiors are a bit dark but that's what adds to the charm. The sensor activated voice provides a background effect and also information on each of the exhibits. While we enjoyed ourselves, we noticed a family with a young child who was disturbed by the darkness and the sudden sounds. That however does not mean that this attraction is not for kids, because we did also see lots of children who were enjoying the exhibits.

If you are keen to learn about the Tudor history, then this is a reasonably priced attraction that gives you a first hand experience of how things would have been back in those days. I would recommend it if you have an interest in history.

Apart from the museum, Tudor World also conducts ghost tours, pub walks and theatre events. Lantern lit ghost tours of the building take place every evening from 6:00 pm onwards. They also conduct family friendly ghost tours on Saturday evenings.

The museum is open daily (except Christmas Day) and guided group tours can be arranged by calling them up prior to your visit.
