100 days to go to the London Olympics 2012

Its just 100 days to go to the much awaited London Olympics. The countdown has begun.



A range of events are being held all across UK to mark the 100 days to the Olympics. Kew Botanical Gardens unveiled an awesome installation of the Olympic rings made up of 20,000 plants.



A giant sandcastle was built in Weymouth and Portland featuring the Olympic rings.



260 Guardsmen from the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots and Welsh Guards marked the 100 days to go to the London 2012 Olympic Games by forming a beautiful 100.



And in Swindon the countdown to the Olympics was celebrated at the Live Site in Wharf Green with Get Set network school children, equestrian rider David Doel, a few torchbearers and some games makers getting together to form the figure 100.
