The Elephant Parade in London - June 2010

Elephant Parade 2010 is a campaign to create awareness about the endangered Asian Elephant. As a part of the campaign nearly 250 vividly painted elephants have been put up all over Central London.

Each elephant has been painted by a different artist so you get to see varying styles. These elephants are put up on street corners, near parks and places where the public is most likely to visit. And they are proving to be a crowd puller.

You can place a bid and buy any elephant you like. With the artists who worked on these elephants ranging from Abu Jani to Tommy Hilfiger to Sandeep Khosla to HRH Princess Michael of Kent - you are spoilt for choice.

We couldnt see all the 250 elephants, but from what we saw - we loved all of it. Each piece is so unique, colourful and fun.

The Elepahant parade is on till July 2010. So if you are interested you can still have a look.
